Joe Kuntani’s France Tour

Joe began the tour at the Château de Versailles, moving through the State Apartments, Hall of Mirrors and the estate gardens. The visit placed his own creative journey beside a landmark shaped by French history, architecture and public memory.

Back in Paris, Joe followed the Avenue des Champs-Élysées toward the Arc de Triomphe. The route joined everyday city life with one of France’s most recognisable monuments and gave the travel story a clear Parisian centre.

At the Trocadéro, Joe carried his guitar through the terraces and gardens overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The instrument makes the photographs unmistakably his: part cultural visit, part travelling performance story.

Évry-Courcouronnes served as Joe’s base in France. Its streets, commercial centre and contemporary public spaces broadened the magazine beyond famous landmarks and captured the everyday energy of the host city.

One of the tour’s most relaxed moments came during an indoor bull-riding attraction in Évry. With his guitar still close by, the scene adds humour and spontaneity to a journey otherwise shaped by history, diplomacy and cultural exchange.

The itinerary also moved through Évry Cathedral, the River Seine, the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries. Together these stops connected contemporary architecture, historic collections and the quieter public spaces of Paris.

Beyond sightseeing, Joe met Ghanaian representatives and cultural partners in France. Conversations with Acting Ambassador Mrs Quartey, comedian Roukiata Ouedraogo and Ghana-France community leaders focused on cultural promotion, youth opportunity and stronger creative exchange between both countries.
